The conference championship for Track and Field was held at Lejeune High School and several of our students won medals.
Overall, the GIRLS took fourth place in the conference.
The girls 4x1, 4x2, 4x4, and 4x8 team won 3rd place.
Zenora Saelua placed 3rd in shotput and 2nd in discus
Decherra sheppard placed 1st in 100 meter hurdles
Julia Horiates placed 3rd in discus.
Carissa Lauramore placed 2nd in 300 meter hurdles.
The BOYS took 2nd place overall in the conference.
The 4x8 team placed 2nd
The 4x2 team placed 3rd
Sam Cook placed 2nd in 100 meter hurdles and 3rd in 300 meter hurdles
Daniel Manor took 3rd in the 100 meter hurdles.
Bryan Hill placed 3rd in the High Jump
Zach Midgette placed 1st in Discus
Grayson Reed placed 3rd in the 1600 meter run
Levi Martin placed 2nd in the 400 meter run
Jordan Leanes placed 2nd in 300 meter hurdles and the 3200 meter run
Robbie Wyble placed 3rd in the 200 meter run
And Zach Foster placed 1st in the 1600 meter run.
The entire team represented Dixon well and we're very proud of all of you! The regional championships will be held Saturday May 4.
